PRINCE OF WALES
DEPARTS FOR SOUTH AFRICA [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] (Received this day at 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, Jan 3. A crowd. at Waterloo station warmly farewelled the Prince of Wales, en route to Southampton to join the Kenilworth Castle, whereon he sails as an ordinary passenger for Capetown. The Prince shook hands with a large circle of friends, including the Duke of Gloucester, Prince George, Sir Godfrey Thomas. Princess Louise affectionately kissed him goodbye, and 6aid, “Have a good time and' enjoy yourself.”
