DAVIEIS STILL MISSING

AUCKLAND, Jan. 2
There have been no developments regarding the mysterious disappearance of J. L. Davies, who left his home in Edendale on Tuesday afternoon, and whose coat and hat were found on the foreshore of the harbour on Wednesday morning. A further search ivas carried out by the police, but no trace of Davies was found. The condition of Mrs Cubitt has shown a slight improvement, and she was semi-conscious to-day.
