WEDDING BELLS

REID—ANDERSON. A most popular and interesting wedding was solemnised at fet. Patrick s Church, Greymouth on Tuesday morning, the parties being Hugh Ran. ay, youngest son of the late Mr an l Mrs Reid, formerly of Dillmanstown, Kumara, and late of Greymouth, and Maiy Ellen, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Anderson of Ka pi tea, near Kumnra. Rev. Farther Long performed the ceremony, ant] Rev. Farther McSherry who presided at-the organ, rendered appropriate music for the occasion. The Bride, looking charming in a russet brown lace, over selfsame georgette, with large Bangkok hat, adorned with a posy, and carrying an impressive bouquet of carnations, roses and poppies, was escorted to the altar by Mr Allan Smith. Misses Agnes Reid (sister of the bridegroom) and Mary Martin (niece of the bridegroom) carried out the duties of bridesmaids. Fach was attired in a dainty frock of shell pink georgette, with hats to tone their bouquets of roses and carnations completing the effect. Mr Emil Hall of Timnru, and Mr William Reid brother of the bridegroom) performed the respective duties of host man and groomsman. The bride and bridegroom left later on a motor tour of the South Island, the bride wearing a handsome hi no crepe marocain frock, with large hat and Mack georgette coat. 1
