IJlio Coastguard of Newport fired upon an escaping American rumrunner dubbed “ Black Duck,” and a large cargo of liquor was captured. A supposedly British rum-runner “ Floor Del Mar,” was discovered by the Coast Patrol off .Montague, laden with liquor and was fired on.
