THE BOMB OUTRAGE. EIGHT ARRESTS MADE. (United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) DELHI, December 27. As U sequel to the bomb outrage, eight Tpdians were arrested at Lahore yesterday, including two delegates to the National Congress. The police are prosecuting vigorous investigations into the outrage. The Viceroy has received hundreds of messages from all parts of India congratulating him upon his escape. Even extremist leaders denounce the outrage. PROCEEDINGS BROADCAST. LONDON, December 24. The King’s speech at the opening otf the Disarmament Conference on January 21 will be broacast, this being the first occasion since his illness. The broadcast will begin at eleven o’clock, and will go on until one o’clock. It is hoped to include the introductory speeches of the delegates, including that of Mr Ramsay 51 acDonald, who will take the chair .immediately after the King vacates it.
