LINDRUM v. SMITH! United Press Association.—By Electrlo Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, Dec. 24. Lindrum and Smith have commenced a fortnight’s time-limit billiards match at Glasgow. Scores: Lindrum 1736 (465 and 394) ; Smith 1701 (376 and 358). LONDON, December 26. New worlds records were created in Xmas Day by Lindrum who made two breaks of over a thousand in consecutive innings in the afternoon. One break was completed from an overnight unfinished of nine hundred. Lindrum is the first player to accomplish the feat in a single session. Smith compiled 1038 in the evening creating a further record, in that it is the first occosion on which two opposing players have made three breaks of over a thousand in a single day.
