Messages from the American Government appealing to the Soviet for assistance for Lieutenant Ben Eielsen the Arctic aviator, who was lost six weeks ago off the coast of Siberia, were flashed on Monday night directly to Moscow and to two Soviet ships in the vicinity »of where Eielsen disappeared.
