Phil Scott h'as arrived a,t Southairipton from New York. He announced that he was returning to America in the New Year, when.he.hoped to meet Sharkey for the title. Asked if he would be prepared to meet Camera, 'Scott said that lie would be pleased to. do so, but he would not meet him Until he had had a chance at the world’s title. The complicated position which has arisen over the world’s title suggests that a good many fights will have to be settled, outside and inside the ring before the world knows who really is champion. U.S.A. LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE. 1 NEW YORK, December 21/ Benny Bass, of Philadelphia, knocked out Tod Morgan, of Seattle, in the second round, thus winning .the Junior Lightweight. Championship, which Morgan has held for five years. Bass was groggy at the end of tie first round but he floored Morgan twice in the second. KID CHOCLATE WINS. , , NEW YORK, December 23. Kid Chocolate 128;jlbs knocked out Johnny Lawson, New Jersey, 1331b5, in the second of a scheduled ten rounds, marking Chocolate’s- final fight before he leaves for Havana to rest, whereafter he returns to continue his bouts in New York.
