DUE TO SLOTTED WINGS. LONDON, Dec. 21. Owing to tlie Handley-Pnge slotted wing device, the air accidents in 1920 were the lowest for eight years. "Whereas there were 33 accidents and 51 deaths in 1922, with 370 machines flown by the R.A.F., there were 31 accidents and 42 deaths with more than eight hundred machines in 1928.
