CRICKET TAXATION. SYDNEY, December 20. Questioned regarding the New Zealand Cricket Council’s reported decision to appeal against the Federal taxation levy on £2OOO profit from the M.C.C. Sydney match, the Department says the appeal, if received, will be treated like any other which the taxpayer is entitled to make, but the Department has no power of discrimination. Only the Government can make a remission as an act t>f grace.
