TWO BROTHERS HANGED
A DEFIANT PAIR. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MONTREAL, December 20. Two brothers Norman and Lawrence Menard, both under twenty years, were hanged together at Bordeaux gaol for the murder of John Durham, a cashier, in an attempted hold-up during a blizzard in February. the trial both boys were impudent and defiant. By a coincidence the hangings took place during a snow storm. Both had previously served sentences for hold-ups.
