EGMONT—SECOND DAY. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) HAWERA, Dee. 19. The Eigmont Racing Club’s summer meeting concluded in cloudy weather before a decreased attendance. The track was soft as a result of the heavy rain overnight and morning. The tote handled £12,98, a decrease of £9550 for the second day of the last January meeting. The total lor both days £29,799, showed a decrease of £15,095) over last year. Okaiawa Hurdles- (1) Democratic 1, (5) Joke Form, 2, (3) Waitaunalia 3. Won by a length. Time 2.52. Electric Handicap : —(1) Awaken 1, (2) Green Linnet 2, (3) Cold Zone 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.4. Mcremere Hack:—(2) Roman Pearl 1, (3) Green Acre 2, (1) Just So 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.19. Tonks Stakes:—(3) Silvermine 1, (5) Yoma 2, (6) Hipo 3. Won by a short neck. Time 1.53. Trial Hack:—(l) Teataster 1, (3) Amridgc 2, (8) Tentcall 3. Won by a head. Time. 1.5.
