A special meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Council to-day considered the action to be taken in view of the Manakau Amateur Cycling Club advertising a meeting at Auckland on December 80th. and it was decided to issue a statement warning aamteur riders of possible serious consequences if they compete. The statement states that they will be liable to disqualification. It was also decided to write to the Mahakau Club pointing out that it was still affiliated witli the N.Z.A.A.A. and asking for an explanation why the meeting was advertised as it has been.
