The Air kW received reports that natives south of Tunis saw a largo, aeroplane crash. Steps are being taken to confirm the reports, one of which states the crash occurred at Zaghouan and that the two occupants were killed. It is reported from Pretoria that a faint reception of the Fairy monoplane signals were heard at ten o’clock last, night but before the details could Abe obtained, a big Italian station tuned in and destroyed the signal. DEATH OF FLIERS. (Received this day at 12.25. p.m.) LONDON, Dee. 18. The Air slinistry confirms that the long distance fliers were killed near Tunis.
