FATAL EXPLOSION OF PETROL TANK . (Australian Press Association) (Received this day at 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Deo. 17. Au explosion in 1 a' petrol tank attached to a house lighting system at Poowong, caused the death of Mrs MoWhinney, and injury to four others. Thomas Reyner heroically rescued these from the burning building, -but Mi's McfWhinney’s charred remains were found later. The house was destroyed. :
