BIG TAX CUTS
COMING IN GERMANY. [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] BERLIN, Dec. 13. Chancellor Muller, when making a statement in the Reichstag, said that part of the reduction of Germany’s debt under the Young Plan about twenty millions will be devoted to balancing the budget, while the remainder, about seventeen and a half millions, will be devoted to the reduction of the taxes and will in this U. 3 supplemented by about twenty millions from the increase of the duties on beer and tobacco, thus making available about forty millions for the reduction of income tax and other taxes affecting industry.
