The order of Masses and Devotions in St. Mary’s Parish on Sunday, December loth, will be as follows: Kanieri 8.30 a.m., Kokatahi 10 a.m., Hokitika 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 7 p.m. * At three o’clock to-morrow afternoon at Princess Theatre the rights and privileges at the Christmas racing and trotting meetings will be sol'd. Those for the Westland Racing Club 1 will lie sold by Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. and those for Westland Trotting Club by Messrs M. Houston and Co. The publicans’ licenses privilegs and night to sweets and ice cream stall at the Hokitika races on Boxing Day, will be sold by public auction to-morrow afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Princess Theatre. Jading by the fine list of entries a very successful race meeting is assured, and a large gathering of the general public may be expected. To-morrow (Saturday) at noon at their mart, Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. will sell by auction as a going concern (the stock in the bar to be taken at valuation) the Royal Hotel at Okarito. together with freehold and lens-elold land. The property is a well-known one and in view of the improving conditions in that district should command considerable competition.
