N.S.W. COAL CRISIS
ROTHBURY MINERS. REFUSED THE DOLE. (Australian Press Association) (Received this dav at 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 11. The Rothbury miners who decline to work under the terms recommended by Union leaders will be refused the dole by the Government. The same course will ho followed with other mines as :the Government takes them over.
Cabinet intends to man Rothbury forthwith and it is expected coal hewing will start early next week. COLLIERY OPENING. PRECAUTIONS TAKING. (Received this dav at 9.2-5 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 10. Before the Rathbury Colliery is opened by the Government a police camp will be established adjacent to the mine Arrangements are also being made to enable miners to live in tents similar to plans that apply to two or three other collieries,
