GOING TO RUSSIA. (British Official Wireless). RUGBY, December 9. Sir Esmond Ovey, the newly-ap-pointed British Ambassador to the Union of Socialist Soviet Republic, is expected to leave for his post to-mor- ** row, and Monsieur Solnikoff, the new-ly-appointed Soviet Ambassador to London, is reported to have left Marsaw last night on route to England acpanied by Messrs Ashton Gwatkin and Mark Patrick, counsellor and secretary respectively, and Colonel Clifford, attache. Mr Pafon, who has held Consular posts at Vladisvostock and elsewhere in the Far East, will he commercial counsellor at the British Embassy. The Soviet Ambassador, M. .Solnikoff, is expected in London on Tuesday or Wednesday next.
