SYDNEY MURDERS
TERRIBLE CRIMES. SYDNEY, Dec. 8. Alexander Bel ford, aged 45 years, was killed last night with a heavy waddy, which it is believed, was used by a person who had sworn vengeance on him in Redfern, a slum quaitei of the city. FATAL RAZOR ATTACK. SYDNEY, Dec. 8. Another terrible crime has been committed in the Surrey Hills slums. Arthur Lands, aged 35 years, was so severely slashed with a razor that he was disembowelled His dying depositions were taken. , (Received this day at 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 9. Arthur Lands, the victim of the razor attack cabled this morning is dead. The police have arrested a: man on a charge of murder.
