His Lordahip’s room at the Mater Misercordia Hospital, has been visited by many of the clergy, who live in and about the citv. Doctor Liston and Monsignor Cahill, V.G., have been in constant .attendance at the bedside. LATEST REPORT. AUCKLAND, Dec. 8. -The latest report this afternoon regarding Bishop Cleary was that he was sinking. CONDITION VERY CRITICAL. AUCKLAND, Dec. 9. Bishop Cleary’s condition this afternoon is very critical. His temperature is 105. He has been unconscious since 5 a.m. on Friday.
