Mr .T. L. Turner offers for sale a complete box-making plant. Fuller particulars appear in another column. The holiday traffic promises to he very considerable this season. The tourist booking to South Westland is said to be above the average, and over the Christmas and New Year holidays in particular a large number of travellers are to go south. The railway hooking is said to much heavier this year also. The weather which on Saturday was very showery, with a cold westerly olowing got worse at night, and yesterday was very rough. There was a heavy westerly blowing with heavy rain and several very severe hailstorms which did much damage to the gardens. The night showed no improvement and the atmosphere was very cold. To-day there is no great improvement in the conditions. Addison’s can show you the host in millinery, frocks, coats, neckwear, gloves, holts, scarves, and hosiery. Call early.—Advt.
