.MURDERER’S GLANDS. BUDAPEST, October 16. It was stated at Dr. Uzelac’s sanatorium at [Fvidek, Jugo-Slavia, to-day that the two patients who had glands from an executed murdered grafted on them were “happy, lively, and excited.” One of the patients, a 67-years-old retired Russian general, Panta Krivsiow, hopes that his asthma and glaucoma (a. <liscn.se of the eye) will he (Hired hy tlie operation The other patient, aged 72, a dock labourer named Alexander Vujanic, wishes to marry and have children. Dr. Uzalac, who performed the operation, lias promised to provide means for maintenance and education of any children that are horn. Dr. Uzalec explains that when the glands were removed from the executed man’s body they were physiologically speaking, alive, and preserved this condition during the short period before the operation.
