WESTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

TUESDAY’, DECEMBER 10th. NOTICES OF MOTION. 1. The Chairman to move:—“That the accounts presented for the month of November*, 1929, as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to C—— , be passed for payment.” 2. The Chairman to move:—“That the Council being the local authority in whose district the land is situated do consent to the proclamation as a road of all that part of Section 2830, Block XI?., Wataroa Survey District, coloured red on plan now produced, P.W.D. 7(59(55, such portion containing one acre one rood .07 perches as shown on the said plan.” 3. The Chairman to move :—“ That in pursuance of the aforesaid resolution, the common seal of the Westland County Council be affixed this day in the presence of tlve Chairman and Cr. Wells.”

4. The Chairman to move:—“That in respect to road at Arahura, Block XIII, Waimea Survey District, taken out of Railway Reserve and N.R. 30, the Council consents to the taking of such land as is delineated in the plan now belfore the meeting.” 5. The Chairman to move :—“ That in pursuance of the aforesaid resolution, consenting to the taking of roads coloured edged red and yellow on the plan referred to, the common seal of the Westland County Council be affixed this day in the presence of the Chairman and Cr. Wells.”

(5. The Chairman to move:—“That in respect to Government grants covering metalling on roads, the Council agrees to efficiently maintain in future to the satisfaction of the local representative of the Public Works Department, the sections of the road metalled under the authority of special votes for such purpose.”

7. Cr. Donovan to move:—“That tenders he called for the delivery of 200 cubic yards of sea beach gravel on the Okarito foreshore for repairing Okarito Forks road required.”
