A messag'd from Nome states: Eilsen and his mechanic-, Dorland, have been lost for a fortnight and al, efforts to locate- -him have failed. Pilot Dorbandt and Eilson recvmh made two trips by the steamer Nail uk which was ice-bound at North Capo, Siberia, and brought to Nome, furs worth a fortune. Eilson became lost on the third trip and there are serious fears that he is starved or frozen although there is always the possibility of the intrepid northerner hibernating with Eskimos somewhere during the remainder of the winter.
