WEDNESDAY, DEC. 4tli. The Board met at 3 p.m. Present: Hon H. L. Michel (Chairman), Messrs •J. King, A. Clifton, T. W. Dull' and T. W. Bruce. An aplogy was made for the absence of Mr Murdcch. The minutes were read and confirmed. • A report rom Mr I). Stevenson on the repairs necessary to put the Board’s property in Weld St. in order was received and approved, ft was resolved to have specifications prepared and tenders invited for the works, returnable on the 17th. inst., the Board' to meet next afternoon. A letter was received from the \Vnimate High School Board, in relerenee to subsidy salaries.- Received and copy to Ik* sent to Mr partridge. From Mrs K. Coles, enqylring if the Board’s property in Weld St. was open for tenancy.—Received and to he filed. The Chairman submitted a copy oT the last balance sheet showing the revenue during 1928 was: Revenue fr m S.Fi. reserves, £lO3 18s: interest on 'investments, £126 1.4 s £>d; rents, £IBB W 01.
