PRINCESS ACCUSED

The “Morning Rost’s” Riga correspondent states: “According to information from Leningrad there is a danger of a death sentence in the case of Princess Sophie Lie*in, sister-in-law of Sir Kyiniion Stuck!, ex-Lord Mayor of London, who was arrested and is now at Lubiankia Gaol. It is stated she occupied a position at Librar. She is a:cased of participation .n an Anti-Soviet conspiracy; also in the White Guarelist Wins, and will be court-martialled. According to reports from Moscow her anti-Rovolutionary activities consisted of holding Sunday Schools for the benefit of working-class children reading the Bible. The nr sedition is believed to have been instigated by tne notorious anti-God Society. I.ady Shield, who is a Russian, said s..e knew her sister loyally ’abided bv the Bolshevik regime and devoted herself to helping the poor.
