THIEF’S STRANGE ACT. MELBOURNE, Dec. 2. A thief who robbed the homo of John Miller, at Footscrav, acted in a strange manner. He bound the bands of Miller’s wife and two children, and Miller, who returned home at ten o’clock at night. He then stood guard over the family with arevolver until six in the morning when he departed. Airs Miller managed to free herself and the others.
