The plenary sittings in January of the Five Power Naval Confernce are to be held at the Royal Gallery of the House of Lords. This was the scene of the recent Victoria Cross dinner. The reason for this selection is that the State Room at St. James’s Palace, which the King offered, is too small, though many of the meetings connected with the Conference will be held there.
