NINE MURDERS,
BY INDIAN BANDITS
(United Press, Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) - DELHI, November 26. Armed bandits murdered a land owner and eight servants in the ffesert village of Nabissar, near Hyderabad in Sind. CHILD MARRIAGES
DELHI, Nov. 27
Owing to the Act forbidding child marriages passed by the Legislative Assembly, not coming into operation until April, children are being married en masse in Bombay at present, 2000 being married in Surat, alone. This has already led to a demand for exorbitant- dowries. Moneylenders at Gujart are said to he doing a roaring business.
