The case arose out of a motor lorry accident on August 11th, when two persons were killed at Newtown. •N.S.W. BUDGET. SOME ,OF THE PROPOSALS. SYDNEY, Nov. 27. The draft of the Budget was considered by the State Cabinet. Treasurer Stevens hopes to forecast a reduction of taxation on incomes from personal exertion, and a repeal of the super-tax on profits of companies. Another proposal is a reduction in salaries of members of Parliament.
