A full meeting of delegates to the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association decided last night that Sunday play at Wilding Park should not be permitted. Delegates from Clubs that already permit Sunday play joined with the opposition on the ground that the proposal would affect the popularity of their Clubs and cause a loss of membership. DAVIS CUT TEAM. MELBOURNE, November 27. Australian Lawn Tennis Association has decided that a team should compete for the Davis Cup in 1930, probably in the European zone.
