WEDDING BELLS

A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Patrick’s Church, Greymouth, yesterday, the contracting paities being John William Greenhill. eldest son of Mr and Mrs W. Greenhill, to Mary Cecilia, only daughter of Mrs .and the late John Condon, of South Beach. The ceremony was performed by the Bev. Father Long, who also celebrated Nuptial Mass. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, wore a charming frock of shell pink georgette l with pin-tucked bodice, and the skirt fell uneven at the hemline. Her embroidered tulle veil hung <ftan A . a coronet of orange blossoms ana she { carried a shower bouquet, the brides- t maid was Miss Maisio Greenhill, sister ' of the bridegroom, who wore a pretty frock of apricot georgette, which fell uneven at the sides. She also carried a posy.* Miss Patti McGrath (cousin of the bride) wore lupin-blue georgette, frilled to the waist; site carried a pretty basket of flowers. . Both wore mob caps -to tone with the dresses. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Jack Phillips as best man. As the bridal couple left the church the Wedding March was played by Miss McSherrv. After the ceremony the guests, numbering about 70; adjourned to Herb. Moore’s tea rooms, where the wedding.,, breakfast? was served and the usual toasts were honoured. . The bride’s mothbr received her guests wearing a black r* orepe-de-'chine dress and blacks .silk' repp coat and - lmt to match; Mrs Greenhill wore a smart costume of beige and hat to tone. When the bridal couple left for their wedding tour, which is to bo spent in the - North Island, the bride wore a smart frock of lemon crepe-de-chine and navy blue eelanese coat, and a nvottv lemon hat.
