AIK BENNETT WITHDRAWS. By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, Nov. 24. -Mr. H. D. Bennett, Independent Candidate for the Hutt by-election, who is on a week-end visit to Wanganui, announced to-day that lie would not further prejudice the field against the anti-Socialist candidate, and would therefore retire from the contest.
