LONDON, Nov. 23. In the billiaids matches the latest scores are as below :—- Lindrum (playing) is .25,648, including breaks of 1162 and 432. Smith is 18,936, including a break of 475. McConaohy. ,is 22,488, iimluding breaks of 102 and 541. Davis is 20,019, including a break of 662.
RECORD SCORING. (Received this day fiat 8 a.m.) LONDON, November 23. A match df phenomenal scoring ended heavily in favour of Lindrum, who on the final day exploited the open method of scoring. His first visit to the table produced 964, including two runs oi 91 and 46 consecutive close cannons. Other notable breaks were compiled by open means. The match is a memorable one in Lindrum’s career, making in one week five breaks of more than a thousand. He also scored more points than anyone else in a fortnight while tlie total poifits scored by both players exceed any total previously in a fortnight’s play of one match. Finally Lindrum’s average for one match is 209 per innings, while Smith though vanquished by .7,983 had ,the fine average of 150.
Tlie final, day at Manchester found Davis ;iii fine-form. ' During the afternoon he scored 1528 or an average of 254, while McConaohy with . 547 for an average of 78 held at the interval a lead of 1458. Davis in the evening scored 1282 or an average of 07 and MeConaeliy scored 544, or an average of 32.
