The Dusseldorf mystery has taken a new turn. The theory now is that the murderer is connected with a .school. AH of the murderer’s letters have been, written in exercise book paper.

Berliner, who formerly was. resident in Duesseldorf, has strengthened this theory by discovering that one of the murderer’s letters is written in the form.of an acrostic, wherein is indicated a Girls’ School in Dusseldorf. As a result, detectives have visited a well known school, and they are believed to have obtained definite clues from which a dramatic development is expected to take place soon.

A workman' named 'Stcilzer, living at Motmann, a suburb of Dusseldorf, has been arrested.

Various articles of feminine apparel have been found in his rooms. His appearance tallies with the description of the murderer given by Mrs Tourer, who herself narrowly escaped death at the hands of “Jack the Ripper.”
