this day at 8.30. a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 23.

An extraordinary meeting of shareholders of Margarine Union Ltd. is holding on December 10th. for the purpose of increasing the authorised share capital from four millions to eleven millions six hundred thousand sterling, by the creation of one million seven per cent, cumulative I preferred shares and six and a-half millions, or ordinary shares. The prncipal object is to enable Alargarine Union Limited to carry out its part of the agreement which provides that the ordinary share capital of Lever Brothers Ltd., and share capital of Alagarine Union Ltd with whom was associated N. V. Alargarine, should be amalgamated from January Ist 1930.
