A destroyer which reached the Baron Elclio the master whereof says he had no knowledge of the messages, considers the wii'elesser was mentally unsound. The destroyer remains until the swell abates, to permit of further investigation if necessary.
CAUSE OF SIGNAL
LONDON, November 23
The Baronelcho’s wireless operator was removed in custody aboard a destroyer which arrives at Malta in the evening. The Captain boarded the Baronelchos and considered a search is unnecessary.
The wireless operator maintains that everybody is trying to poison him. Last night he was found hiding up a ventilator. All the destroyers are returning to Malta.
