VICTIMISATION
GENERAL STOPPAGE POSSIBLE
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, November 20. Owing to a dispute over the' dis? missal of a miner, a stoppage of work occurred at the Glenmassev collieryyesterday. The dispute was still unsettled this morning. HAMILTON, November 20. Regarding the Glenmassey Colliery dispute, a Glenmassey message to the “Waikato Times’’ states that tlie workers' allege that there is victimisation of a worker. Tie was dismissed on Tuesday evening. The President and Secretary,of the Miners’ District Council arrived at Glenmassey, and with-the local Union’s representatives, bad a. conference with the Mine Management, but no agreement was reached. The Management posted a notice, ordering the men to go into the mine at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, and collect their tools. Unless satisfaction is obtained by the Union, the District Council will consider the calling out of all the miners in the V aikato district.
