STOCTC EXCHANGE,
[United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.]
(Received this day at 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 18
The Stock Exchange gave a further indication of a return to normal conditions. There was a decline within a comparatively narrow range, but many issues picked up towards the close and a majority finished above their own levels for the day. Wall Street was pleased with the market performances ard looked for a continuation of quiet sessions, with narrow price movements, until the list becomes adjusted to the new conditions. The main interest now centres upon Hr Hoover’s forthcoming industuial conferences.
The first Stock Exchange casualty of the recent crash was recorded when the Governors suspended a Providence firm for failure to meet their obligations.
