BOXING

CARNERA’S FIGHT

AROUSING MUCH INTEREST *

'United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright); (Received this riav at 1.30 p.m.Y LONDON, Nov. 17; Camera’s first, appearance o ;against a first-class boxer, td-morrow, is arousing almost as much interest as the world championship. There is certain to be a record attendance. The Prince of Wales will lie present. This fight might easily he the turning, point in Camera’s career. Most of his other fights have been of a humorous variety. Camera’s viewpoint is; “After all, I am only a novice. Stribling is one of the three best heavy-weights in the world. I want a good clean fight without any tricks. I have not hit anybody yet with all my power, and I don’t want to lose my temper.’’ This remark is causing his manager a good deal of concern as he fears the Italian may be driven 'so mad by the exceptional cleverness of Stribling that he will lose control and pick him up in an endeavour to throw him out of sight. He did that in Paris three months ago. His temper is easily aroused. It is an oddity that Camera, within a few months, has been transformed into a skilful boxer after an appearance in Paris as a joke, when he knocked out a man by hitting him on the top of the head as if wielding an axe. The measurements are:—Camera, 6 feet ten inches in height; 20 stone in weight. Stribling sft. Ilyins, and 13st. lOlbs respectively. Camera’s reach is six inches longer than his opponent’s.
