CAPETOWN, Nov. 14
■The police made a raid on native compounds at Durban. It resulted in te ; arrest ©of several natives for the non-payment of poll tax. Trouble is said to have been fomented by Cominliiii.st agents from .Russia.
A native Professor blames over taxation as the cause, and also overcharges for the compound beer. It is anticipated that a demonstration against the Native Bills will begin in January.
