WELLINGTON, November 16

James Kerr, of Petone, will be the official United (Party candidate in. the forthcoming Hutt bye-election, his nomination being endorsed by tli'e Dominion Executive and the leader Sir Joseph Ward, last night. The candidate is a son of the late Hon. -James Kerr, M.L.C. and is the proprietor of the Hutt and Petone “Chronicle.”
