25 MEN ENTOMBED. . ONE LIFE LOSTg: (By’ Telegraph—Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Nov. 15. An explosion .occurred at Linton Mine at Ohai at 10 o’clock this morning. ‘Twenty-five men were,entombed. Rescue parties by noon succeeded h getting out nil but two, jvhom it i. hoped to resell^.. Latest information, states that th two ways of escape by the entombed miners were cut off by the spread c> gas. Two were killed: Robert John son, married, with four children, am Anthony McCoy,/ married, with or child. Harry Ivitto is still entombf and it is feared may succumb. Rescv. ers are endeavouring to reach him.
