Liverpool reports that the South American pool has beaten the Canadian pool, which is regarded here as a dying gasp of London bears. Local traders assert London admits every bushel of Canadian wheat is needed. George Melvor, general sales manager of the Canadian pool, declares the claims for Argentina is pure Liverpool corn trade pronaganda. He says the pool never refused to sell grain or take part in international trade. He scoffs at the idea of a bargain counter. Wheat will continue to come in all the year. He asserts that the end of Argentina wheat is definitely in sight. Another trader asserted that they cannot co against the laws of simply and demand. Canadian wheat will be demanded and farmers are going to secure the benefit of enhanced prices. British traders should know the Canadian pool has access to the most reliable'world production and consumption (‘mures in existence and cannot be stampeded by crude propaganda.
