A Dusscldorf message states that (lie latest police theory is “Jack the Ripper” is disguised as a woman, owing to the. fact that children and women have been warned against a man. It is believed that the murderer is posing in feminine attire.

LONDON, Nov. 13

The latest news from Dusseldorf states that the police are now investigating a theory that “Jack the Ripper” is a woman and Inspector Genuad, the great Berlin detective, who has been specially summoned, is taking part. The nolice' declare that they have obtained evidence that a mysterious woman distributed sweets to the children with whom the latest victim was playing on the evening before 'her disapyearnace.

An important aspect is that thi woman is reported to have had a hoarse voice, which would help her in pass for a man if she dressed as one.

A further scrutiny of the map sent to the police reveals that the writing on it is distinctly of a feminine character.

The objects found by a dirgiim navtv in a field in the outskirts of the city consist of a woman’s hat, blouse, and a bunch of keys.
