The Canterbury Agricultural Show opened to-day in perfect weather. All the stock were presented for exhibition in remarkably fine condition, and there was a good. representation, especially in the sheep classes. The following were the championship awards : SHEEP. Merino: Fine combing ram, A. C. Todhunter; reserve, N. Rutherford. Ewe: Pawsey’s Estate; reserve, M. P u flier ford. Medium combing ram: J. W. Trolove; ewe, Pawsey’s Estate. Strong combing ram: L.
