Obituary.—A. H. Tonkinson, solicitor of the firm qf Tonkinson and Wood, aged 61. Deceased was a well-known yachtsman.

Scoutmaster Cooksey, who was in charge of the New Zealand contingent to the International Jamboree in a message on behalf of the boys says:— “They are returning with a determination to place scouting where it should he in the Dominion as one of the greatest influences for good which has ever spread over the world. As the result of the death of a swagger, Oscar Larsen, aged 57, Noel D. Robertson, a service car driver, was today committeed to the Supreme Court for trial on a charge of negligent driving and causing death.
