ALLEGED ROLL STUFFING

- It is .stated a close investigation of the rolls for Eden and Monaro, used at the recent Federal elections, has revealed an amazing state of affairs and an allegation of “roll stuffing” has been made. Further enquiries are being carried out. The contest in this electorate was one of the keenest in the Common wealth. On the first' count Perkins (Nationalist) was leading when it was discovered some informal votes bad been credited to him. Two check counts were made and Cussnck (Labour) was returned with a majority of forty.
