There was another fairly sharp and prolonged earthquake felt locally lastevening at 6.49 o’clock. It was a decided one, coming north to south, and was sufficiently /strong to- shake crockery but did no damage. The shock was felt in Greymmith, the movement lasting for about seven seconds. Many people rushed out of their homes on to the street. The shock was also felt at blackball, and places between here and Westport.
